Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. What are your thoughts on that?
Mine? I’m excited! …I know what a bunch of you humbugs are going to say…. you’re going to say it is a “made up” holiday. That it was created by the greeting card companies. Well… yeah… you’re right. But, ask me if I care. (Hint – I don’t.)
I LOVE Valentine’s Day! I love people expressing their love, I love flowers and the color pink. I like doing special things for my loved ones and I love that we are all doing it at the same time!
One thing that I have always looked forward to on Valentine’s Day is the sweets. I think those little filled chocolates in their little heart shaped boxes with their little maps are DELICIOUS. However…. we all know they aren’t “real food.” That they aren’t very good for you….so, we eat THOSE in extreme moderation.
I generally like to provide a dessert for my family on Valentine’s Day, as well. However, I like to keep our diet really low in refined sugar, so coming up with dessert can sometimes be difficult. Perhaps you’ve experienced the same thing and perhaps it isn’t just at Valentine’s day but also around all of the major holidays.
Well, if you’re like me and you’d like to satisfy your sweet tooth but stay away from the refined sugar, then I’ve got the ebook for you.
It is called Naturally Sweetened Treats and includes 40+ recipes for treats that are sweetened with natural ingredients, i.e. maple syrup, honey, dates, etc. The collage at the top of this post shows you photographs of nine of the recipes that are included in the book. (If you notice, the one in the upper left hand corner is my recipe for homemade peanut butter cups.)
This ebook is on sale right now for $3.97, so hurry up and get it before it returns to it’s regular price of $9.97.
