Seeing: Yellow! We've finally begun painting our kitchen and I love it. Goodbye ugly dark tan color. Hello beautiful bright yellow. (And GOODBYE flat finish!)
Smelling: The chicks. I clean that brooder every. single. day. And they still stink my laundry room up. You'd think they were farm animals or something. Out to the coop with them!
Tasting: Homemade graham crackers. Totally worth all the work. Post coming soon.
Hearing: The rain. Again! We had another rainy day in the desert (with a little snow!). It was wonderful.
Feeling: Excited. I'm going to be away from my kids for the WHOLE day tomorrow. I'm going to a conference. I haven't ever been away from Ian for the whole day and haven't been away from the girls since I was in the hospital giving birth. This is going to be good. I love my kids, but sometimes mom's got to get away and take a deep breath.
